Before Pictures

These pictures are not great but that's kinda the point in the Whole30 challenge. I look and feel like crap. I'm hoping in a month my skin will look better and my hair will look less fried. It's obvious that I carry a lot of weight around my middle so hopefully I will be able to see since of that shrink down. Fingers crossed this goes well!

Green Smoothie

I took a couple handfuls of these greens from Costco with a bit of pineapple and put it in my bullet. I didn't even get to drink the first smoothie because the kids snatched it from me! LOL

Team building exercises are not for fat people part 2

This is the second exercise we were suppose to do. There was no way in hell I was going to expect a bunch of 16-22 year old kids lift my ever loving ass up in the air. They would die. I would squish them and they would die. Thankfully I did not have to do that part.

This was one of our team building exercises at work tonight. We did it 3 times. For 45 seconds then 60 seconds and finally 90 seconds. Nobody should have to hold my fat butt on their lap. Ha ha ha ha

Stupid knee

The good news is they didn't find any blood clots in my leg. The bad news is the ultrasound and X-ray showed fluid in my knee and they don't know why it's there. One step at a time until I'm feeling good again

Doctor Appointment

I'm home from the doctor. He upped my Prozac to hopefully make me less homicidal. Ha ha ha my poor kids and hubby. My mood over all has improved. My knee is still feeling pretty rough so he sent me for am X-ray. The pain and stiffness is normal for arthritis and agitated by my weight. However the on and off swelling has him worried. So tomorrow I go back for an ultrasound to check for blood clots. He'll check my TSH in a month to make sure I am at a good dosage. He told me to start wearing wrist braces again at night for the carpal tunnel so I don't lose anymore strength in my hands. My blood pressure is borderline. He starts medication for patients at 140/90 and my blood pressure has been 140/83 on average. So he told me to go on the DASH diet for the next 2 months until I come back for my next appointment with him.  If it doesn't go down he may put me on medication. Sooooooooooo for now it's time to load up on fruits and veggies, keep exercising, keep drinking water and keep trying to lose weight.

I'm back and things are scary.

I'm back and let's face it things aren't great. I'm at my absolute heaviest. Not even 9 months pregnant with any of my kids was I this heavy. I have had a "scary number" in my mind that I never wanted to reach. I blew it out of the water. I'm in pain every single day. I started treatment for severe obstructive sleep apnea right after Christmas. My TSH is all over the place. My anxiety meds aren't working as well as they were. My periods are either like a leaky faucet for 10 days or a freaking flood for 5 days. I feel like in 12 again and refuse to wear anything but black pants that time of the month. I'm miserable and I'm struggling to feel good and it sucks balls. Sooooooooooo here I go again and let's pray this time the scale goes south instead of north.
